So I placed an order with http://www.pyramydair.com/ and ordered the Beeman FTS's in each caliber The 4th tin is free so I stuck in another .20 cal. because that is my favorite shooter. I have shoot all three cal's in my guns and am supprised at the accuracy they produce.I am supprised that 23ib0d0n hasn't mentioned these pellets ! It seems most Field Target shooters love these pellets. But again some guns only funtion well with a certain brand Maybe 23ib0d0n will ring in on this subject and give us a review on these pellets as well.. BBGun Bob FTS are ok in some HW and FWB, and the occasional Lothar Walther barreled Diana {a few older TO1 guns from what I gather} Most of mine like Crosman Premiers {I haven't seen all those "bad" things that are on 'other' forums} The graphite die release agent that everyone wants to "wash off", hasn't been any problem for me. CPL and CPH work great in most Diana and work well in Sumatra with the power turned WAY down. Falcon FN19 shoots 14.3 premiers very well, as does the Mac1 HW barrel Talon. At $50 a 'sleeve' from Pyramyd, the only reason to shoot anything else is if the barrel won't group with them or it is a low power pistol that prefers Dynamit Nobel Hobbies or Basics. FT shooters may also use H&N Baracuda {Kodiak match} or JSB Exact / heavy etc if the gun they shoot has a real preference. The choke on Diana barrels usually allow them to group several pellets very well. Mine do . . . Unfortunately Pyramyd doesn't have vogel pellets. I base that on a lot of positive comments and very few negative comments.   Posted: Sat Mar 08, 2008 2:50 pm 23ib0d0n Moderator Joined: 21 May 2007 Posts: 757 For the price point, Dynamit Nobel Basics shoot exceptionally well in my 46m and as long as the pellets or tin aren't obviously bent or otherwise damaged, they shoot great. That's why I bought 2 sleeves of Basics and 2 sleeves of Hobbies. Awesome price on Basics at Pyramyd and Midsouth ran a deal on Hobbies a few months ago, something insane like $3 a tin - couldn't pass up that deal. Bhargav are you going to lube your pellets   Posted: Sat Mar 08, 2008 3:30 pm BBGun Bob Veteran Member Joined: 29 Oct 2007 Posts: 474 Location: Michigan with the silicone oil??If so you can use the sil-oil in the auto parts store with teflon in it.You remove pellets from tin and put a thin piece of foam in the bottom then spray the foam that way it only lubes the out side of the pellets(gently shake them around a little) where it is needed.Do not over do it A lite coat is all you want on your pellets.I have even heard of some people using PAM no stick for cooking on there pellets. BBGun Bob MSP, PCP & SSP may or may not like lubed pellets - but springers really need friction at the start of the bore to develop pressure for the power pulse. Lube will jerk the carpet right out from under a springers ability to produce good power or consistant accuracy. BBGun Bob what i am planning to do is, soak couple of cleaning pellets and fire. this way the bore will be cleared and then one drop in the compression chamber after every 1000 pellets.
