Hello everybody.....

Yesterday while stopping at the local Farmers market, I saw a box for a RWS Diana model 48, (it turned out to be a brand new unopened box with a model 54 Air King inside) Long story short, the guy sold me the brand new 54 for only $ 250!!!. On top of that, He said that He picked up that rifle, along with three others at an Estate sale.....the other unfired one was a BSA break barrel, that was also new, but not one of the upper line models. The other one was a Webley of some type, that had what appeared to be a spring loaded "pop-up" loading chamber, that you would push down.....

He said the Webley originally went for about $ 800 new, but He'd probably let that go for $ 250 if I was interested. I had no idea what model that was, and I wanted to get outta the store before He realized He sold me a RWS 54 that He thought was a model 48.

Anyway, anybody know what model the Webley may have been? I'm guessing this estate sale was probably from about 1990 or so, because my riflle has a RWS card inside with an 100 year anniversary pamphlet inside (1890-1990).

Any help appreciated.

I went back yesterday to the shop......

turns out that it's a Beeman/webley Eclipse in .25 caliber. Here is a photo:

The other rifle was a BSA Goldstar in .177 here's a photo:

I wish I had the money, I'd probably go back and buy both of em'. by the way, silly me for thinking one was a break barrel, in my excitement of my new purchase, my head was spinning.

Those are some pretty nice rifles! Only for the novelty I'd get one! Shocked

I'm tempted to go back and offer $ 450 for both of em'....I think He'd take it. i think He wanted $250 each, but I'd bet He'd go for $ 450. Since they're both unfired brand new, it's probably an good investment.
