I lost the cap to my 2250 and trying to make the 2240 cap work. Does anybody know the length of the rod that pushes against the co2 cylinder or better yet, the total length of the cap.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the welcome.

Is 2.45" the end-to-end rod length below the cap or the whole thing from top of cap to end of rod. I have a cap from my 2240 and a metal rod that will fit the hole. I just want to make sure I don't cut it too short. Then i'll have to cut it again and try to make it longer, lol.

You posted "or better yet, the total length of the cap " From the top of the cap to the end of the rod is the dimension I gave you from one end to the other.

And WELCOME this site has SO much experience, from guys all over the world, that it's just amazing Mr. Green Mr. Green

I always say that, too: like just before I get the hacksaw in my hands and then totally forget the concept.

Welcome to the forum!

I had the cap fixed, so I thought. The rod i used sank into the demple of the hole. Now I have to cut it again and try to make it longer, DANG. Just what I was trying to avoid. Think i'll either get another one from Crosman or do away with CO2 alltogether.
