I lost the cap to my 2250 and trying to make the 2240 cap work. Does anybody know the length of the rod that pushes against the co2 cylinder or better yet, the total length of the cap. Is 2.45" the end-to-end rod length below the cap or the whole thing from top of cap to end of rod. I have a cap from my 2240 and a metal rod that will fit the hole. I just want to make sure I don't cut it too short. I had the cap fixed, so I thought. The rod i used sank into the demple of the hole. Now I have to cut it again and try to make it longer, DANG. Just what I was trying to avoid.
