Anyone had any experience with these? They have been around since 1997. They have a few air gun compatible scopes that look 1/2 decent.

They range from $30-50 canadian.

The specific units you listed are good (not every NcStar product is wonderful)- but depending on what gun you are attaching the scope, the 6x32 may be a bit much- good for 75+ yards, but if you have a little pumper barely pushing 500fps, your effective shooting range will be significantly less, so something that can be brought down to 3x, 4x maybe even 5x would be more appropriate. If you have a lower-powered gun, the 2-6x28 is probably your best bet for shorter ranges.

Just went off and checked prices- of course the 2-6x28 is the most expensive of the three- but that wasn't intentional/considered in my recommendation.

I will be using it on a Diana Model 34 and/or 54 and was thinking the 3-9x40. On another powder burner forum, they basically say NCstar are hit or miss and being chinese the quality may not be as good as what we are used to. Do you own any of these or are familiar?

Oh, originally I was considering the 2-6x28, but it would not fit in my scope mounts, too short. I am willing to pay $100 or so and was leaning to the Nikko Stirling Gold Air Rifle Scope, but I am having a he!! of a time finding one is N. America.

3-9 x 40 is a nice size scope on most airguns....
