Nice kit! Once put together it looks pretty darn good!

Say, I think I might have a nice place to put that Bulk valve, since I am still short of a valve, and since I wanted to bulk it anyway. What kind of thread is that, 1/8 npt? That standard small one that they also use here? Could it be turned into an on/off or pin-system? I also could use an extended bolt, allthough one of my friends might be able to do that too. Neutral

You see, I still gotta get that SSP250 to work, and why not just doing some nice mods to it. Mr. Green

On top of that, nobody over here can do American threads. Neutral

It means I'll have to order from the states sooner or later anyway...

Hey Broom,

Yes it is the standard 1/8" NPT for the fittings.

This is the first one... I have a few improvements for the next one that has a home for it all ready. It will be living @ 7000 feet in elevation and doing the high elevation testing at 14000 feet on Pikes Peak in a HPA setup.

I applied for the patent on the monster valve and the Lawer is doing the search right now...

It uses the Pin on the tank for on/off function. Just un screw the tank a little and it shuts off the supply leaving just enough air in the system to pop off about 6-8 more full power shots before you start loosing pressure on Co2... I am looking for a small ball or pin type valve to add to the system that is at least rated @ 3000 psi. for HPA use.

What Kind of fittings are those? Norgren? Camozzi? Something else? They look like Norgrens. . .

I know that there is macroline rated to 1000PSI working pressure (3000 PSI burst) but I haven't found a macroline fitting yet that was rated higher than 260 PSI.

The Norgren fittings are rated to 18 bar (~260 PSI ).
The Camozzi fittings are only rated to 250 PSI.

I have had fittings fail on a (very) warm day. It's not a catastrophic failure but venting an entire 20 oz CO2 tank makes things really chilly (don't touch the tank, you can get a pretty nasty case of frost bite!).
Cheap macroline is generally rated to ~250PSI Working pressure as well. I've seen those split dumping an entire 12 oz tank and causing the owner to need to change his underwear Laughing

Just a heads-up.

Hey ustilago,

I switched out the MicroLine to 3/16" "Automotive Brake lines". I had to custom flair and bend the lines... A real pain in the butt... but no more leaks and are rated at 3k psi Working - 5k psi Burst.

The Fittings are 1/8" NPT 90* to the appropriate flair fitting. I got all the line parts to do it at the local NAPA Auto Parts store.
