I have a Crosman Powermaster 66 rifle and always found it easy to pump. The Crosman 1322 Am. Classic pistol, however, is hard to pump. (The Backpacker apparently has some kind of defect in the pump.) I'm looking for a pump pneumatic .22. It would be great if manufacturers stated the pumping effort.

Try oiling the pump cup to see if things get better.

I returned the 1322 and wanted to get the Umarex Strike Point , but I have to wait for it to get back in stock.

I finally got the Strike Point, and it seems to be fairly easy to pump, but but the packaging was a nightmare to open, and I was unable to get the instructions out, corporations should be heavily fined for that, and there's a bolt that blocks the bolt so it can't be drawn back enough to put the pellet in. It's very visible so that it doesn't seem to be a defect, so I don't get it.

Thanks. In order to pump it the bolt has to be open, but it can't be open.

I contacted the seller but they don't respond, n I contacted the company yesterday. The thing in the bolt slide is not there in the pictures in the instruction manual. It's very bizarre.
