I want to replace the entire bottom tube of my 2289 with a larger diameter part the same length. I want to use a modified co2 valve and a homemade flat top piston. I plan on using a lot of parts from existing guns, maybe a Sheridan Streak or Benjamin 392. Has anyone done this type of modification ?? |

Much harder pumping, the larger diameter (3/4" instead of 5/8") would increase the force by 44% at the same number of pumps.... Eventually you would fold the linkage or destroy the pivot pin.... To take advantage of the Benji parts you would need a longer tube....
