One person's loss is another person's gain. With all the house reposessions going on near me, I've been doing some major dumpster diving and have manage to squirrel away quite a bit of metal stock for my budding welding biz. Much of this is in the form of old bed frames. Can't beat free angle iron, I say!
In between everything else I've been doing, I've slowly been building an indoor firing range in my basement for siting in my 2300. The target is nearly complete and I hope to have some pics of that up soon.
For a bench, I manage to get an old workmate portable work table out of someones dumpster. Figure that'd be a good rest. But what I'd really like is to see some examples of home brewed gun rests.
Granted, I know I could use bags full of shot. And that'd work fine. But I could use the welding practice, and I love seeing what other diy projects you all build. |
