Also stripped it a bit, and thinking of either oiling or waxing or whatever-ing it. I can technically fire this rifle one-handed, pulling it up into my shoulder, but it works better with the normal open sights then with a scope. When I do use two hands, my elbow rests on my hip but my fingers or hand are mostly on the trigger guard for support. This gun is way to light anyway. Look at the other rifle in the PIC, that's heavy. In competitive shooting the supporting hand is usually pretty close to the trigger guard.
