Dead on at over 100 yards I've noticed,at least in mine, after 35 yards or so the accuracy with the Crow Mags drops off....killer close range pellet though... I have no POI change when swapping between Cudas and JSB Jumbo Heavy in my HPA 22xx & Disco EBR... Preditors are good out to 100 yards for messing up Whistle Pigs.. Well being that the Disco is HPA,and not a springer,which can take 500-1000 shots to break in,I don't think it applies.It's more of a case of "seasoning" the barrel which Joe already hinted at... The lead from the pellets will fill in any micro defects in the barrel,and your accuracy will smooth out...I don't even clean my barrel until it gets dirty enough that accuracy drops off.I use a product called Goo-Gone,available at your local supermarket...it's great stuff. _________________   Posted: Tue May 04, 2010 5:26 pm fritz Silver Status Member Joined: 25 Nov 2008 Posts: 2442 Location: New Jersey- outside of Philadelphia Mark, that is not entirely true. The guts of a PCP still need to work in and polish themselves from the factory. That's what MAC1 does to prep the guns he sells (for a nominal fee, of course). By polishing and properly lubricating these parts from the start, it helps to get the most out of the gun before it would normally be "broken in". Googone is a petroleum product, so care must be taken to avoid it spilling into the transfer port or leaving much of its residue near the breech. EDIT: Don't clean your barrel, yet.
