i have about 200 shots on it so far. have killed 20 starlings so far, but have missed just as many. was target shooting today at 40 yds using beeman crow mags. it would not group at all!! looked like i was throwig a curve ball as i could see the pellet traveling down range through the scope!! was wondering what i could do? also is there a particular pressure that the gun is more accurate at? i was pumping up to 2000 and shooting to just about 1000. thanks.

Try a different pellet.... you have to find what your gun likes....

What he said I've noticed,at least in mine, after 35 yards or so the accuracy with the Crow Mags drops off....killer close range pellet though... Twisted Evil
I've heard that guys are also liking the Barracuda's as well....gotta give em a try.

H&N Cudas work great too... I have no POI change when swapping between Cudas and JSB Jumbo Heavy in my HPA 22xx & Disco EBR...

Preditors are good out to 100 yards for messing up Whistle Pigs.. Twisted Evil
Less than 10 yard head shots, pops their eyes out... Shooting Razz
After 100 yards... What energy? Where did it go?????

Where do you guys buy your JSB's? They seem awfully pricey from PyramydAir...

Joe, didn't you have problems on a previous gun at over 35 yards with CrowMags? IIRC you could see the pellets spiraling downrange.

I buy in bulk only a couple times a year.If you go with PA it's a pretty good deal,as they offer the buy 3 get 1 free option, and the free ground shipping for orders $99.99,and over knock the price per tin down even further. If your looking for just a tin or two,you can find them on flea bay from time to time at a reasonable cost.

I believe it....that expansion cup is almost big enough to eat cereal out of...gotta be a-lot of drag there.Still though they make a nice pop when you hit a furry with one at close range.

Well being that the Disco is HPA,and not a springer, which can take 500-1000 shots to break in,I don't think it applies. It's more of a case of "seasoning" the barrel which Joe already hinted at... Wink
The lead from the pellets will fill in any micro defects in the barrel, and your accuracy will smooth out...I don't even clean my barrel until it gets dirty enough that accuracy drops off.I use a product called Goo-Gone,available at your local supermarket...it's great stuff.

Mark, that is not entirely true. The guts of a PCP still need to work in and polish themselves from the factory. That's what MAC1 does to prep the guns he sells (for a nominal fee, of course). By polishing and properly lubricating these parts from the start, it helps to get the most out of the gun before it would normally be "broken in".

Googone is a petroleum product, so care must be taken to avoid it spilling into the transfer port or leaving much of its residue near the breech. To avoid repeating this discussion of how to clean a barrel...

http://www.airgunhome.com/agforum/viewtopic.php?t=4681&highlight=barrel+cleaning

The Q-tip method would work well on the Disco.

EDIT: Don't clean your barrel, yet. And just do a quick check to make sure your scope mounts (and rings) are tight, and the stock screw(s).
