Crosman has spring-powered guns at slightly over $100.00, but you get what you pay for. Gamo also has models in that range. I have a Crosman G1. Shoots good and was only $99. It's a springer, so you don't have to pump it, just break the barrel, load a pellet and shoot. As Slavia mentioned, installing a better trigger would really help this gun. I haven't done this yet, so mine is a little stiff. I would go with the Chinese clone guns (B-XX series). You can even get them tuned for $200 plus shipping. Test fired it, put it over the chrono, adjusted (including polish + lube) the trigger, and in general made the gun fire much better. The improved firing cycle, resulting is more consistent (although not always higher) velocities, and a more accurate gun.
