I found this on Ebay a couple weeks ago. It holds air so that's a good start. I've had a few of the 101 version but always thought these were cool.
It's going to take some work to get it shooting. Luckily I have some drawings and Tom Gaylord did a good blog about the 102 over on the Pyramyd web site.

The sliding breach block is done and seems to work. The true test will be when the cam plate is installed and if pellets will load as they should.
I'm not sure if the original bolt was a solid probe but I made this one a hollow probe. The hollow probe always made more sense to me. I also added an O-ring to seal the bolt to the breach.
A test fire with 3 pumps showed 375 fps. |

I had started on making the cam plate, I figured out quickly it was going to be challenging. I started thinking about how much making a cover was going to suck... I had seen reproduction parts for the 102 on Ebay so I returned to the computer and a few clicks later had the parts on their way.
The parts arrived surprisingly fast and the quality is top notch.
Getting the pellets to feed into the shuttle smoothly has been a struggle but I have managed to get it to feed. I'm hoping things smooth out as the bolt and shuttle I made "wear in". |

| I'm almost shocked the rifle was holding air! Must have been resealed at some point, a gun still holding air if it was original and 70+ years old would be amazing. |

I ended up tearing into it to see what shape the internals were in. I found it had been lubed up to get the seals to hold air. Not a big deal I was expecting to have to do some work to it. I had a new seal in my parts stash for the check valve and was able make a new seal from PTFE for the exhaust valve.
I took it to the range yesterday. It's shooting 2" groups at 25 yards, good enough for plinking at soda cans.
I haven't been able to get it to feed pellets from a loaded magazine so I just load pellets one at a time. Some day I'll get around to working on the feeding issue.
For now it is hanging on the wall by the front door ready for action.
