Hi all. I've been a pellet guy for a long time but lately had the urge for an inexpensive BB rifle so I picked up a Red Ryder 1938. I scoped it with a Winchester 4x32 AO and was wondering what I can expect for accuracy out of this thing. I'm getting groups of about 3 inches at 30 feet with the scope. Is this all I can expect?
Thanks |

Unfortunately, that is about all you can expect- it is a low-power BB shooter meant mainly for kids to shoot tin cans to stay amused, nothing much else (except maybe holding a door open if you wedge it underneath). |

OK...that's kinda what I thought. Fun to shoot but there's nothing like a high power pelleter. Thanks man! Oh...and I'll keep it in mind if I have a door that needs wedging open. |
