I can buy a Hill MK4 for $360 or a used (twice) MK3 for 125 shipped. I want one to last with good vendor support and easiest to pump hopefully more air with each pump, if there is such a thing.

Any advice would be very much appreciated. I don't have a clue.
Thanks in advance.
Vic

If you can afford it get the mk4, vendor support and knowledge that you've got the latest technology. I'd get the mk3 its good enough and those Hills are totally rebuild-able from what I hear

FYI, I bought the MK4 Hill Pump and glad I did. I don't see a lot of difference in the amount of air pumped with each stroke over the Benjamin pump, but it is a whole lot easier.
Taking my Disco from 1000psi to 2000 took ~60 strokes-maybe a little more, but I had to rest after 20--25 pumps & was wore out when finished. 60 pumps counted with the MK4 did not wear me out at all and it got the Disco to 2000-2100.
This has been important to me as I have COPD.

Hi Vic, Glad you are happy with it. Also thanks for coming back and telling us how it worked out. So often people don't do that. We see a question, post an opinion and never hear from them again.
