I really don't know if I am right or not. But when I respond to a post that asks me for a response or a update on progress on a gun I would like some type of reply. Guess I won't waste my time logging on and sharing my thoughts any longer. When I am Ask a question and I respond, a agnoligment of the response should not be very much to be looking for. |

Why is a response required?
If someone asks- "how's the progress coming along"- what does adding "thanks for the response" add to the conversation?
Many times people are curious how someone else's project is coming along- i.e. showing interest in what you are doing- not hanging on the edge of their seat waiting breathlessly for you to respond so they can get on with some critical build of their own.
Likewise, are you specifically being asked for a "response" on specific posts? If so, why is the forum being used for this? If people have questions for which only one person on the planet could possibly answer- maybe they should send it via email or such- not use an online forum. |

It's the internet, not John Adams' correspondence with Jefferson. If it's that much trouble for you to log on in the first place, maybe you should stick to books.
Don't take things personally. We wish you'd stick around. It's a slow forum- we've got a small hobby. That's life. |

You talking about me and the Sam Yang thread? Sorry, I read a lot of forums and only a few of them are about airguns. I do appreciate hearing about your gun and your experience with it. I just haven't gotten back to this forum in a while.
I do have a busy life. Two kids in college, a contracting company to run, and a mold making business to run, and an avid interest in spending time on the water chasing slimy green fish. |

'CPO' is no longer around- he had a bit of a melt-down when everyone wasn't sympathetic to his requirement for a response to responses... |

I will say this forum is tight enough that anyone can find what they want. Things aren't broken down so far you dig & dig to find it then when you do, the mods have moved it.
I voiced my opinion there and got banned, like I'm hurt! LOL
They may be larger, does not make them better. |
