Helium is alot more costly these days as well. More processing required to separate it as it's such a low-density gas (i.e. on the periodic table) and apparently the party balloon people like to keep any of it not used in industrial applications for themselves. Exclamation

I've got a feeling that Air Soft use Propane, but I could be wrong.

Hubcity001, what is your moderator made of?
How effective is it?

Also, What scope and bipod are you using?

Have you been hunting with yours yet?
They kick a$$ hunting! Anyone who has ever hunted
with a Condor will know what I am talking about.
They make shot placement a lot less critical. The prey
just drop instantly.

Say, you said this is your favorite airgun. Does this mean you got something else laying about?

I have a Webley Tempest, Vulcan, Patriot
and some old HW pistol in storage and the
Condor and a DQ .308 that I use almost every day.

Well, that's some serious shooters you got there. I take it you got the old Webleys?

Did you post any pictures of those around here? Because I smell some new topics here. Mr. Green

Yeah, the old Webleys. I wouldn't want a
Turkish gun personally. The DQ is down south
getting trigger work done and a .40 caliber
barrel installed. I miss it a lot.

The moderator is a 2" wide pvc pipe 18" long i used sound absorbent foam to coat the pipe then it has a 4 inch main expansion chamber followed by 10 baffles and a sound absorbent end cap i find it very effective as long as i stay under the speed of sound. the scope is a bsa 6-24x40mm illuminated mil dot with a 4" sun guard the bipod i have forgotten the name of but i had a heck of a time mounting it for it was to be mounted to a sling swivel stud but the airforce sling swivel stud set is to big and bulky for the bipod to meet the gun thus i had to use some getto rigged pads. yea i have taken it hunting on many occasions and shot placement dosent matter with this kind of power but the condor is so accurate you can put the shot in the vital zones every time anyways

I feel I must mention this- but all you guys in the U.S. talking about silencers- those asking for info- no problem. But, those guys with some sort of silencer on their airguns already, or planning to put one on better have the proper permit(s) issued by the BATF, otherwise you are in contravention of federal law.

This needs to be mentioned as no one needs some federal official coming around and claiming we are promoting illegal activity. If you've got a silencer- make sure you have the permit for it.

I think I like you. Mr. Green

I read a review on a turkish made Webley and well, it's more or less worse then a chinese airgun.
