Took the gun to the range today for some chrony numbers with several pellets I had and here's what it shot. Only had about ten of the JSB Kings. Wound up changing the scope 'cause I had a lighter scope and wanted to see how it felt. Beeman FTS 19.5grn.=1059fps/48.57fpe,JSB Kings 25.4grn.=966fps/52.64fpe,Benjamin Pointed 27.8grn.=966fps/57.61fpe,EunJin Hunting 35.8grn.=869fps/60.04fpe,SamYang Hunting 42.3grn.=803fpd/60.6fpe.

Not to be funny about it, everything looks good- but why get an $800.00 rifle and mount a $100.00 scope on it? |

I've got a scope similar to that. It's always worked fine. Maybe after the 800 dollar rifle, that's the most he can afford. I know my Browning Gold Medallion A-Bolt doesn't have a thousand dollar scope on it, for that reason.
Very cool man! I want one of those someday |

For most of us an 800 scope isn't going to tighten our groups one wit. Heck the most expensive ($200) scopes I own are on my airguns. I've used cheap scopes on my powder burners for over 30 years. If I was going to try to shoot long range benchrest, all I would do is machine myself up a hand wheel for my Bushnell scopes. |

Here's another one of my guns in my arsenal. FX ELITE 25cal benchrest with a Benchmark 3-groove ss barrel shooting JSB Kings 25.4grn pellets at 950fps. with a Sightron SIII 6-24x50 FFP MOA scope.

Nice scope! Do you really find it to be worth $1000+ though? |

I bought it used in lnib for $300 less. The clarity of the optics is excellent. Best scope I have. |
