Picked this little rifle up on an outing to a mall tonight, came with pellets, and amber set of safety glasses, pellets, bb's and a scope for $59. Took a little to sight it in, but its pretty accurate with bb's indoors at 35 ft. Pellets are better but they're a little difficult to hand load. I'll have to test it outdoors out a little further. Not a bad low end gun, and I cycled about 300 rounds through with no functional issues

Hits the bottome of a coke can and out the other side all day long at 20 yds., pretty good for a $40 gun with BB's. The little scope they supply works well once you get it sorted, another fun little gun!

Same guts as the good old 880, and 901 I believe. Great cheap guns. ...Took a lot of vermin and edibles with those types. Reliable too.
Don't you love getting a new toy when it doesn't hit you in the bank? |

These little guns are great, never thought you could get that much power and verstility for $35, with a pellet and 10 pumps they have serious penetration power. Indoors I just use 3-4 pumps and you can shoot it pretty quick. I ordered the Crosman 760 for a whopping $29 for comparison. Don't mind going shopping with the wife as much, especially when I have a chance to pick up one of these little gems for a few bucks. There are a few more on my list |

I picked this one up about 9 yrs ago from wally world for I think $49 or $59, a Gammo Cadet Delta. This has proved to be a great budget gun also, I think it does around 525 fps, and still hits as hard as the day I bought it. (not a bb gun, .177 pellet). Everyone in my family has borrowed it, and it still kooks and works great, easy to cock and pretty accurate within 50 yds. Don't know if they make a new version of it?

Very cool, I almost got one the other day but I'm waiting to see if the Benjamin Trail pistol finally comes out first. |

Ordered the powerline 35 a few days ago. Should be getting it today. Can't hardly lose for 35 bucks. I needed something to shot other than my red ryder. I've shot thousands of bb's thru it since I bought it in 1985. I set up my target stand at 5 and 10 meters depending on which targets I'm shooting at. If the 35 is as accurate as my red ryder I may consider getting a scope for it.
It doesn't get any better than this. |

I hope that Trail is good pistol... I bought a Ruger something-or-other for 60 dollars.... extremely hard to cock, extreme dieseling, poor accuracy, and the best part: it broke after about 15 shots. Piece of plastic around the valve ring, big chunk jumped off... now when you shoot it the valve ring starts popping out of the gap left. Utter junk and disappointment...
I was so disappointed with Ruger I almost sold my .480 super redhawk
but i'll definitely never go that far |

The 35 takes a little getting used to, you have to squeeze the trigger, slightest jerk and it'll go off target. I usually shoot targets with 3-4 pumps, it's plenty with the little 4X15 scope, at 10-20 yds I can hit most anything with a bb. Pellets are more accurate but kind of a PIA to load, so I just crank off BB's. A lot of people reccomend using open sights, but I am way better with the scope. It's a small lightweight gun, but it packs a pretty good punch compared to the Daisy Red Ryder and 25. Hope you like it, I do |

Yes, I had that problem with my Red Ryder. It was so lite every time I fired it it jumped all over the place. I filled the small tube under the barrel with .38 cal. lead bullets to add weight to it. Much better but could use more. Haven't figured out how to add weight to the 35 yet. |

So in other words lighter isn't always better. |

Just saw this post. A while back I read a review of this gun by Tom Gaylord. His had not just bad, but atrocious accuracy. Didn't think too much of it at the time. Then I read a thread at Gateway to Airguns by a guy with a Model 35. His was quite accurate even with BB's. I thought it would be cool to have a Model 35 with a smooth bore, so I could shoot BB's without worrying about damaging a rifled barrel (as in my Remington Airmaster 77). So, for only $35, I decided take a chance and ordered one from Amazon.com. It arrived, and I decided to see how it shot with pellets at 10 yards benched. It soon became clear that the Model 35 could group very well at that distance. It was a quick handling fun little gun to shoot. I got a surprising number of tiny one hole groups. I'm talking 1/4" or less.
I emailed someone at Daisy and said they should read Gaylord's review, and that his couldn't even keep the shots on the target paper, let alone the bullseye. I said I was sure his gun was a lemon, and thought they should know about it, and I told them that mine grouped really well. Well, they got ahold of Tom, and asked him to send that putred shooter, and asked if they could send him another to redo the test. He reluctantly agreed. His test of the second gun was way better, though his still didn't group as well as mine. But he does 10 shot groups. I fessed up to him in a message at his blog that it was me that had told daisy about how bad his first test gun was. He wasn't mad or anything.
Then, about 11 months after I got my Model 35, it quit pumping air. I called Daisy and they sent me a call tag to return mine, and are sending me a new one. I sure hope it shoots as well as my first one. I'm still waiting for it to be delivered.
I had also reviewed the Model 35 at Amazon, but also at Gatewaqy to Airguns forum, with photos (bad ones) of some of my best groups.
Here is part 4 of Tom Gaylord's review. This is the retest with the second gun. You can read the first three parts by clicking on them at the top.

I've shot couple thousand rounds out of mine, never missed a beat. I used 30 wt. ND oil every few hundred shots. The don't look too difficult to re-seal either. Nice little guns for the money. |
