You still shooting mark? I lost my range, but I shoot at my dad's quite a bit now. Hell it's the only thing keeping me sane. lol I built a rifle box that holds four of my rifle, or three and my son's It was big enough for my beeman by fractions and the box is 4 feet long! That Ram RS2 is huge, but damn it knocks starlings a foot or two if I broadside them. Come around more often even if it is only for the BS section. I miss you guys!

Good to hear your still shooting bud.Yep,I'm still shooting airguns too,but not as much as I'd like. Doing this thing called life, the best I can, just like the rest of us. Had to sell off a bunch of my gear a while back.I still have my Disco though, and built up a nice little modded out 1322 Carbine.I built the carbine up because times got kind of hard for a minute, and I wanted to still shoot without blowing extra cash on CO2 carts etc. Things are getting better so I'll be able to build some new toys soon.
That little carbine is now my go to,for small pest control out to 30 yards.Granted,it's only a 9 ft-lb rig,but she sure is accurate..Every bit as accurate as the Disco out to that range of course.Anything further, and it's Disco time. The 1322 does me right, and it's cheap to shoot. So far I've picked off a half dozen rats...four of those were head shots .Add a couple gophers to the mix,and also anchored a mole of all things |

Hey Gents,
An update on myself.
Since the last post, I've gone to a month of combat training (not really much to be honest) in LeJeune, and now I'm out in Pendleton right on the ocean at the amphibious assault vehicle school. I was originally sent as a crewman (as I enlisted for) but voluntarily switched to be a mechanic for the class to pick up.
So now it looks like by the time I get out I can go through some paperwork for a real diesel mech certification, with so many hours working on Cummins 903's.
Spent a month and a half in a waiting platoon, and now we're almost through the first month of training.
How are ya'll doing? |

Sounds like you're having some fun tho For me, mid-summer I found myself moved back to Socal to work packed up my gear, left my wife in tatorville and hit the pavement rolling. Our lease on our house is up in 4 months and Idaho simply AIN'T meeting our employment needs. Almost 2 years of climbing a wall. We decided if a huge door doesn't open-and that, right quick- it's time to go
IIRC Pendleton is still OC not SDC??
It was suuureal working back in redondo beach after 18 months
of I-D-A-H-O. Be careful of what you wish for Fritz you just might get it LOL |

I believe it's San Diego county.
If you want to come up and visit (can't leave base because of student personnel restrictions), you can. Actually IIRC I can get special liberty chits if I just request them, so long as it's legit.
Going on leave for the holidays, I bet the only change in NJ is they installed more asphalt.
EDIT: I pm'd you my number, sniper. |
