I just got diagnosed with tennis elbow and radial tunnel syndrome. The Doc says I have to have a physical therapy called astim. Has anyone had this? He said it will get worse before it gets better and it will take about 3 months. Will I lose my ability to shoot for a while? It already hurts to shoot my 2300 because it's heavy. CO2 season will be over with here pretty soon anyway, but I would really miss not being able to shoot at all. I can't even finish my Titan stock and it is looking in the preliminary to be just what I wanted. The stain needs sanded out and another coat and then some poly on it.
This is just working out to screw everything up. I can't fix my brother in law's car, but I think I can walk him thru it and let him fix it himself. It's just a rocker arm cover leak. This really sucks. Just when hunting season is supposed to start. No squirrel with honey glaze for me this year, and it will get in the way of my son and I shooting together.
It hurts so bad now I can barely pick up my Theresa's wheelchair and put it in the back of the car. If it gets worse I don't know what I will do.
Anybody have any suggestions? |

When you go to your physiotherapy- ask them to tell you which muscles are imbalanced before they do anything else. I got tennis elbow about 10 years ago, went to physiotherapy for 6 months- exercises, electro-whatever, acupuncture- none of it did a damn thing. Finally I asked what the specific reason/cause of it was- they point to muscle on forearm and said it was fighting the muscle on rear (my triceps as I recall) as I had done alot of activity for a few months that built up/strained the forearm and caused this "war" between muscles. I went home, did some pushups and lifting weights to strengthen the lesser muscle- 2 weeks later it was mostly gone. Man, I was pi$$ed off at the physiotherapists as a result of all the BS that did nothing. |

I asked today what mine was. They are adhesions between the tendons. He popped one loose today and I thought I was going to go thru the ceiling, but it does feel a little better now. |
