Has anyone tried to remove the excessive trigger creep, and looking to get a red dot scope for it, any model fit better than others so it will be more comfortable to cock

Hi Chet,
I too tried to eliminate the excessive creep, but didn't have much luck (can't expect whole lot from a $40 pistol, right? ). You can adjust it a wee bit with the adjustment screw at the rear of the trigger, but it's still rather long (at least mine is). Best I could do was take it apart, polish/lube all contact points and basically learn to live with it. After I worked the sear over and fired off 100 rounds or so, the trigger no longer has that scratchy feel to it and is consistently predictable when firing. It really isn't that bad once you get used to it...
Not sure if you have seen these or not, but it's what I used as a reference when tearing into mine:

As for a Red Dot sight, never tried one of them on mine as I'm not too fond of dot sights, but did mount a cheapy NcStar 2-7x32 scope on it with no problems cocking it at all (mind you, it does help if you have large hands!):
Hope this helps a bit! |
