I have mounted the scope below using the Leapers accushot mount, this is a mount with the special tape that is suppose to help with scope slippage. It claims the scope rings do not have to be tightened as much.
So I did the tightening and used blue Loctite on all screws. Am curious if anybody has a mount with the special tape experience.
Hawke Sport Optics 3-9x40 AO Sport HD Rifle Scope 3-9x magnification is the new scope.
7/27/13, I tried the # 249 Loctite tape yesterday and today went through 50 pellets and when done checked the 8 ring screws and they were (for the very 1st time) all tight as they should be. |
