Hello everyone.
I have been a shooter most of my life. Pistols mostly and skeet for a bit. I began shooting air guns twenty years ago. the price of bullets and accuracy of air guns made it an easy choice. I bought a Beeman tempest then a P1 magnum both in .177.
About six months ago. I decided to teach my wife to shoot and made her take a self defense course and safe gun course. She had fun until gun cleaning time. After a couple months of going to the range. She felt she was confident with the gun and did not want to spend the money on bullets and have to clean the gun again.
I was looking for bullets and spotted a Gamo bone hunter in the sporting goods store. I began doing research on modern nitro rifles.
After looking for a Gamo silent stalker. I found a Benjamin nitro trail in 22.
I have a nice bullet trap I made. And I have a nice ten meter range in my garage. I race motorcycles and have a big garage.
The Benjamin was under 200 dollars and I really liked it. Except the trigger of course.
CDT fixed me up with a new trigger and now I can't wait to shoot. I had rotator cuff surgery. Yes right arm.
But it will be better. While healing I was forced by my gun toting wife to sit still and watch TV
Nothing on. But the computer had air gun TV on you tube. Brilliant show. I love it. So here I am lurking around reading all the great posts. |
