I was about to give up on accurately shooting bb's out of this gun, then I experimented with pump pressure. Anything above 4 pumps resulted in knuckle balls or curve balls, at 35-40 ft. 3-4 pumps is the sweet spot, at that level with open sights, I can hit 1.5 in. circles 100%. Makes it a lot more enjoyable and easy on the arms. I like racking bb's thru this thing consecutively.

I'm thinking if it would be possible to put a hop-up on a smoothbore like airsoft guns have to cancel out left and right curves.

3 to 4 pumps sounds about right. That's how I did it when I shot mine in the basement.

Have you tried it with pellets yet? Your accuracy should be much better at
maximum pumps, or any number of pumps, with a much more stable
projectile.

It adds a spin to the projectile to gyroscopically stabilize it.

Like when you throw a football with a spin to it to make it fly straighter.

You might also want to try re-crowning your barrel. I have seen that
alone make a huge difference in 760s before.

It has a rifled barrel (at least mine does) so I would suggest that you feed
it soft lead pellets instead of rifling destroying hard steel BBs.

One last note. BBs are way more accurate in a smooth bore than in
a rifled barrel. So much so that I made a smooth bore barrel for the
13XX that I am building. It really tightened it's groups up considerably
at 20 yards.

Yep, but the ball spins backward with the front side going up. There is something that puts drag on the top of the ball in or near the breech...or possibly the muzzle in some cases(?) Make the balls fly flatter because it a curve ball curving up as gravity tries to pull it down.
