Is it possible to remove the front sight from the Baikal IZH 61 air rifle and, if so, how do I do it? It seems really tight and I don't want to do something dumb! If it screws off, which way does it turn? Thanks for the help...

| I took mines off a long time ago and I cannot remember how it came off. Can't find the darn front sight either. Looking at my IZH61, there is a set screw hole at the top of the barrel that the sight held on by, maybe that is all that you need to unscrew and then pull the sight off. |
