| Does anyone know if the as392 exhaust valve(#397-002) is a direct replacement for the 392pa exhaust (#397B063)? Need to replace the upper half of the valve on my 392pa and the extra O-ring would be nice to help with the t/p |

Where are these part numbers coming from? 397-002 is the pin in a Co2 cap- not a valve/valve part.
That being said- why do you believe another o-ring around the valve where one exists already would be beneficial? The pressure in a pumper is retained in the valve itself, not in the tube- the only pressure the tube sees is on a pump stroke, and one o-ring in such an environment has not proven to be a point of issue or failure if the o-ring is in good shape. |

| Sorry I should have been alittle more clear that the valve that I was refering to is from the model AS392T (#AS397-002,according to the Crosman website)and was asking if anyone knew if it had the same dimensions and could be used in place of the exhaust end of the valve on my 392pa. The as392 valve has the o-ring s on either side of the transfer port so as to more isolate the compressed air to the port. Don't have the tools to machine the groove onto my valve so maybe this exhaust half would fit to the 392pa intake side--just asking. |
