I have a Benjamin Disco and was thinking of staining the stock green(like the pic below). Is this possible with a walnut stock? Its already pretty dark and I'm not sure if its even been stained to begin with. From those of you with any experience, do you think any kind of green stain is possible?

| If it is dark already and you try to go green it will come out almost black. |

| like plasticman said if its dark wood the stain will come out dark green. The wood in your pic was probably done on pine or poplar. Your best bet is to find a piece of walnut scrap close in color to ur stock and stain it and see how it comes out. |
