How many people here own British-made airguns? The only UK product I have is a Condor- which GunPower (the manufacturer) in the UK I believe calls an "SSS"- but no springers or other PCPs... _________________ ` I'd say "I care." But I'd be lying. Thinking back on it, maybe I should have kept it. I must say that I am well pleased with this product. I've been playing with an Mrod trying to get it to shoot accurately, and got it to the point where it is decent, but the AA510 just blows it away. I like the side lever action and the power adjustment feature. I've come to the conclusion that it's a waste of time and money buying an inexpensive rifle and spend time and money trying to get it to shoot like a quality product. It doesn't work. If, however, you also enjoy tinkering - then the time spent with a cheaper gun can be as much fun as shooting possibles. No British guns here (yet). Used exclusively for hft, JSB 10.3gr. avg.859fps/16.8fpe. Have since changed the Nikko Bazooka scope over to a Hawke Tactical 10X44. Spent too much time this week fixing shooting . . . Well a little of everything. I like german guns! RWS 850 was my first air rifle and I will be sorry when it sells. I converted it over to HPA and until I got my s510 xtrafac carbine I had a hard time imagining a high end gun would ever do much more. I love that gun. The boring part of not having to worry about how well it works or fuss to get pellets loaded is very not boring. For the first time in a long time I got to just enjoy shooting. AA makes some really nice guns. I can highly recommend stepping up to one right away and skipping the whole mrod, qb, bam tinker phase altogether. Making a sow's ear shoot silk does give one a certain sense of pride but when it comes to getting a gun that is just great to shoot you are going to have a hard time finding anything decent under 600$.
