| Hello i want to know if any of you know if I can order multiple parts from different similar guns for my Crosman Nitro Venom .177 I want to get a all weather stock and a barrel assembly with the iron sights off a Crosman Phantom 1000x because my gun does not have. Does anyone know if the stock is the same design and has the screws are placed the same way or if the barrel is the same size? and if so please if anybody has the model of the phantom 1000x http://www.crosman.com/airguns/rifles/break-barrel/CS1K77X |

Probably the same, but go here: http://www.crosman.com/cs/manuals and cross check some of the mechanisms part numbers. If the majority of the parts in the gun's mechanical action are the same, then the basic gun is likely the same pattern, and the part numbers that are different, like the different style stocks, for example, will usually fit one another.
For example, the only part number different between the Remington Vantage .177 cal, and the Crosman Quest .177 are the stock because they are different types of wood, and I took the stock off my Vantage and sent it to one of our forum members here in trade for his Gamo Viper synthetic stock. |

I can't say if the stock will fit or not, but one thing that leaps off the page is the detent for each model (the thing the barrel latches on closure). The Phantom has a chisel type detent, while the Venom has a cross pin. Might work, might not.
Looks like the various models of the Benjamin Trail NP have the same compression tube as the Venom, which means those stocks might fit. |
