i was in a gunstore today and seen a new old stock diana 45 and a diana 54 . im thinking about trading my crosman quest in on 1 of them . i need some inpit on both his price and what he offers me determens which diana gets to join my diana harem. dont know why but i keep favoring the 54 ,but guys give me some input as saturday is the tradeing day ,tomorrow

The 54. Recoilless. I endorse the awesomeness of that sliding reciever mechanism. Never owned one, never shot one. But I would assume more sought after than the other option you mentioned ????????
Cool Idea and I'd buy one if one ever comes up for sale in NZ.

I say go 54, but if he knows anything about airguns then your Quest likely won't get much for trade

theres about a 400 + dollar difference between the 2, but the 54 is an amazing gun/ concept

the 54 made it home and the dealer let me shoot both in the back room haha when they arent busy selling guns they have a short pellet gun range in the back room almost 150' long . he said before i shot id be taking the 54 and end their fun haha well they said its had over 500 rounds shot through it broken in allready and sighted good also. we would love to have a job like tis 1 sell guns talk guns and shoot some in the back room

I have a 54 and those are sweet shooting guns. Do be aware that they are harder than nails on scopes, though. Recoil free to you but not to scopes. I was telling another owner about this aspect. And that big, flat headed screw on the back of the scope rail is not a scope stop. The 54 will shear it. (It's supposed to be for a peep sight, so I'm told.) Want more 54 info?
