This is my new favorite rifle that I have. It's so nice to take a break from pumping and barrel breaking, just load and shoot. I have the 9oz bottle on her since I'm still breaking her in. I also have a 4oz bottle that looks way better, it's half the size. I'll be using that one most of the time. I'm really happy with it so far. Here's a few pics. I hope you guys enjoy looking at and sharing pics as much as I do!

That is great Ern. You have to admit the QB's are just plain fun to shoot.
I actually don't mind the 9oz tank look. Nice looking gun. Is that an Archer "custom shop" model? |

You can’t go wrong with a QB Earesto, and like you say no pumping or cocking a Springer, their what I call easy shooting.
BTW what is the lump on the end of the barrel, break or something else?

Very nice. What is the black foam material on the comb? |

I think everyone with a QB79 would like to know where you got a 9 oz. tank that is not only small enough to fit, but has enough room for a foam insulating sleeve as well.... All the 9 oz. tanks I have seen are 2.1" OD which means they press against the barrel....

Hey glad you guys like it and thanks for the nice comments. SMP these guns are a blast to shoot! And yes it's from Archer's. I wanted the custom shop one but he only had it in .22 and I wanted a .177 so he built me this one.
Alstone it's a muzzle break from Archer's on the end there. It looks like some kind of sleeve to me but looks better then nothing I guess. I would like a TKO brake on it someday, this thing is pretty loud!
Slavia that black foam material is from a shooting rest I got. When I got it the foam pad was damaged so the company sent me two replacements. I got the spare one and cut it into a cheek rest shape, it has adhesive on the back so that's how it stays on. It worked out well and looks pretty cool I think.
Rsterne SMP is right, I got the offset block from Archer's. It works great and gives me room for a foam tank cover

I was looking for a breech spacer and didn't see one.... Never thought to look at the tank block, but now I see it's got additional drop to accomodate the 9 oz. tank....

I have that kind of thing on several of my guns. I use toolbox drawer liner with double faced tape. It is especially nice in the winter - much more comfy than laying your cheek on a cold buttstock. Which, of course, is probably not a concern for you. (Given the green grass in February and the palms in the background.)
Plus it dresses up the gun and looks cool. |

Yeah it's 80 degrees here in Miami in the middle of winter! Slavia you can also use a racing motorcycle foam seat pad to make a custom cheek rest, it has adhesive on the backside so it will always stay put. I think the foam cheek rest completly changed the look of the rifle, it's my favorite part and feels real comfortable too. The tool box liner idea is also a great one, I never thought of that.
I forgot to ask, can I leave the bottle on the gun or should I remove it after each use?
