Wanted to introduce myself. My name is Phil, I am 70 years young and have been a shooter hunter since age 10. I am very involved in slingshot shooting and hunting and belong to a number of SS forums. I have always had a few air guns around the house but just used them occasionally. Now, NYS has approved airguns for hunting so I am in. I currently have three AG's, RWS 48.177, a 1377 pistol with sholder stock .177 and a Benjamin Titan GP NP in .22 cal. Looking forward to learning and growing my interest in the hobby.

Thanks for the welcome guys, I have a GRT III on the way, love the feel of this gun, lighter and points easier than my RWS 48. Wanted a little more omph for squrrels so went for the .22 this time.
Slavia, I have viewed some of your posts on the Titan, very informative.

Hi welcome. I'm a kid of 60, so bear with me....
I have a fair collection of airguns and have always enjoyed them. I live in Nashville, but grew up east of here on the west side of the Smokies. I learned gun safety and shooting young to.
I've had the 1377 for years and just got the 1322. I hope you enjoy the hobby (in New York any shooting hobby is something to treasure ).
Look forward to talking airguns. |

No shortage og guns in my household Paladin, I have over a dozen handguns and about the same number of long guns besides my air guns. As posted, NY has just made airguns legal for small game and here on Long Island only shotguns were allowed in the past no rifles, so this opens up areas to me for more enjoyment hunting closer to home. I am excited and will become addicted as I do with most things I take on. I have got involved with slingshots over the past year and a half, they are totally capable of taking small game with the right ammo and allot of practice. I have taken over a dozen squirrels with mine so far. So being retired, I find I have all the time I need to play with my current toys and just keep adding new adventures. Looking forward to talking AG's.

I owned one hunting slingshot, back in the '60s but never hunted with it. (I was in Ohio and it was illegal at the time, as was hunting deer with a rifle, shotguns only). My family moved to Ohio when I was 13.
I've bow hunted, gun hunted and so on over the years, but then for about 25 years I did little but work...life I guess.
Now I have a cabinet full of airguns. I love springers, but I'm actually more involved with the multipump pneumatics right now. Planning on putting the long steel breeches on at least my Crosman 13s (Also my 2240 I think but that's a co2 so I won't get a lot of use from it till spring). If I like the 1322 as much as I think I will I may get another one and set it up as a carbine. |

I have a 1377 and have already looked into a mod to .22 or leave it .177 but add a new breech, barrel, so much to learn, my eyes are tired after reading so many posts. But, what else do I have to do at 10:30PM, sleep? out of the question, times a wasting.
