Hi all, Pete here:) - joined today !
A few days ago I got a BS Classic .22
A little about me: Ex-Mil, & have some experience stripping, assembling, small custom work & mods + general upkeep of (Powder bruners) & Airguns.
Getting back into AG hobby & generally - shooting/plinking, to me - is akin to meditation...well at least when plinking)
Regulated breathing, relaxed body, clear mind & everything focused on one small dot & ALL ELSE else fades away....smell the oil & hear the report & the cheers from the butts ... YESSSS heaven .. jjjust lovely !! )
Hope to learn some from the experts  )

Yes there is tons of knowledge here so ask away. All good friendly folks too.
I have great memories of Halifax....always in my cups, walking uphil, and navigating with a donair compass 
Congratulations on the Classic. Great gun. I'm ex military too. Jeez I know the pay was bad but I never had to get any experience stripping eh!

lol @ todd about the pics it's just a Benji classic .22 same as every other & on the box .. lmao BUT yes I know what you mean .. it is ma other girl ) so pics will follow soon - BUT I may very well be on the verge of getting the Trail NP XL as the classic (althugh pretty) does MAYBE just slightly better than my slingshot ha.
SMP !! - what ?! Hfx AND Ex-Forces !!? hmm when did u leave hfx ? & yes I ABSOLUTEY know about the donair compass !!! hahahaha
we might even know eachother .. PLf here early 90's & how right you are about the $$ situation .. Military never paid me overtime or time & half for working holidays etc .. I had got 2 other jobs & finally ended up leaving the Job I loved the MOST & enjoyed the most - only regret in life so far carrer wise (guess I am lucky to only have 1 regret .. lol)
& I'll have you know stripping can be a "whole" lot of fun sp if you use the right lighting, oil, lube .. see what u started ..
