What's a good rule of thumb for how many shots you need to make before accuracy settles in after changing pellet types?

Should the barrel be cleaned each time you switch pellets to take you back to a proper baseline for accuracy testing?

Thanks.

I'd say 10-15 shots to be sure. If that doesn't do it, then I'd clean the barrel and try for a good group after another 10-15. Usually don't have to clean it each switch, although it can't hurt as long as you are gently cleaning. My 2 cents.

Personally, if it was hitting good with the old pellets, I'd leave it alone. It should only take about 10-20 shots to get it bedded in with the new pellet, if that much. If it isn't accurate with the new pellets, then you might try cleaning it.
