I purchased a set of Grip Master Prohands (blue, red and black) and have been using them anytime I am watching tv or just seated. I can tell a difference in my grip and control after only two weeks of use.

Also, started using the cup & saucer hold which is great for low recoil handguns. And the most important upgrade is finally getting a heater installed in the garage !!!

I should have shot the rifle target the day I shot the pistol target. Before starting today I dropped an open tin of RWS R10s on the garage floor and I was not about to throw them away. I washed them in mineral spirits, dried with heat gun, then relubed with pellet lube oil. I'm a cheap old guy...

In actual fact although the score is low the shooting is good, you could have got another 100/ 120 points if the shot had landed a bit higher, you shots are falling low on half of your shots but are perfectly lined up on the vertical, you just need to lift your aim slightly or alter your hold.
Keep at it

Interesting stuff but what is the "Cup & Saucer" hold? I agree with the heater no way can you shoot and shiver at the same time.

| I haven't heard of the cup and saucer hold either. Please explain. I do need to set my range up again. I just don't have time to shoot anymore.I wish I had as much time free as I used to, but sadly I am getting stretched on my time for fun stuff. |

Thank you. I actually figured out why my shots were off of the mark. I forgot to tighten the Scope Mount screws, and the scope was moving. That and along side of a shaky hand. |

Cup & saucer hold, or grip, is when you place the weak hand palm up under the strong hand which is gripping the pistol. It was only used for low recoil handguns years ago and is no longer recommended. I move my weak hand even farther below so the bottom of the grip is centered in my palm. With the popularity of heavier loads (10mm, .45acp and .357) in handguns these days the cup and saucer hold is not used as the strong hand and pistol will recoil upward out of the palm up hand. It was hard to find a good image of the cup and saucer hold, but here is one.

Cheers Stu, I can see the advantages of that hold in some circumstances.

vitalymezh is on form this shoot and welcome to Jr. Squirreler.
Sean I will use you target next shoot, the only criteria I use for submitted targets is that they do not use to much ink, have 10 to 20 targets and have somthing for both pistols and rifles.
