| hi my names matt and looking to get heavy in to the air gun thing . i am not new to air guns beings i had several but resently i have been haveing alot of fun with them lately. i got 2 and growing my first one is the gamo vh hunter that i ahd for about 3 years now. the secound 1 is the benjamin trail np .22cal that i just resently got from cabelas, i went there planning on getting the trail xl but they didnt have any instock and didnt travel 3 hrs to come home empty handed, i must say i was zeroed in in 5 shots and was putting pellett groups with inside a dime from 25 yards off the bat very reliable consistant gun. but now im in the market for a new .177 and i came across this sight looking for info on a great new gun |

I only have two words for you ;
WEBLEY PATRIOT!!!! 
People reckon they have the following "flaws" :
1) Heavy as hell - even unscoped -- check
2) Massive, primitive recoil -- check
3) As "hold sensitive" as a newborn -- check
4) Heavy trigger -- check
5) Hard cocking -- check
6) Scope eater -- check
7) Cost too much -- check
Well .... If you really want to know, these aren't flaws.
If you want a bullet-proof, sledgehammer .177 springer,
don't listen to the nancy-boy limp-wrist {choke,clear throat} PCP
shooters - who cant handle recoil,and need to pump their
guns up like a tyre to go shooting. 
Yes, there are German springers that can be considered,or even
Nitro Piston rifles, but the Patriot is like an old muscle car; go forever
go hard, and who cares if ya hit a lamp-post, it'll just bounce off.
Trust me, you will cry if you beatup an RWS 350 Magnum. |

Arent there strict laws governing air rifles in NJ? Im not sure what they all are and am up in NY and had a buddy try to get me to buy him a bb gun to give to him due to the laws there. I had to decline... |

| yeh nj sucks but like all guns you need is a firearms id card to purchase it in this state |
