Hi guys I'm looking to buy my first pistol soon, I'm after something that looks realistic, is multi shot and sub £100. I'm also looking for something that has some modding potential for power etc.
I really like the revolvers I've seen especially the crosman 357 (is there a difference between this and the 3576w?). It's cheap, looks good and fairly powerful for what it is. Only downside is a lot of people say it's a bit plasticy and the loadings not realistic for a revolver does this gun have any potential for mods?
Other guns I've looked at are umarex s&w revolvers which look amazing but too expensive. I also looked at the gamo r77 revolver which is pretty cheap too but can't find much info on it. Plus side is that it has side flip out loading!
Are there any other guns I have overlooked that you guys could recomend? Doesn't have to be revolvers, if there's any guns that stand out in my price range then please let me know! |

Welcome to the forum!
If you want to do mods then it makes more sense to look at the Crosman single-shot models like the 1377, 1322, and 2240. |

Pity you can't go a Umarex. I made the stupid mistake of selling my Walther CP88 CNW . That's the 6" competition (compensated) barrel, nickel finish, walnut grips. The greatest replica Walther (or any pistol for that matter) I have ever seen. They use the actual dies, casts and molds from the P88 real steel to make the frame and shell. Everyone that saw it, drooled. My fiancee is not fussed one way or another on guns ... and even she commented a few times on it. How about a Colt Defender ? They are nice looking air pistols. |

is there any other pistols in the same price range as the crosman 357 that are worth looking at?
Also whats the difference between the 357/357W/3576/3567W? |
