One type of pellet that many of my air rifles, as well as a lot of others have had luck with is the JSB Exact line. There are a little pricey, but with the accuracy they give, it is worth it.
Plus, since you want some "Damage" being done, the Round Nose on the end really does the trick! |

Just a question...
If your going to ask everyone and everyone says buy simple round head pellets. No one say says buy pointed pellets.
Why not buy simple round head pellets from walmart? |

Guns are like females. That's why they give them female names like Bessy.
Ever gun will have a pellet they are sweet on. For best results, you have to find which one that is. My advice would for you to be patient, buy a ampler pack from: http://www.straightshooters.com/.177.html. And find the pellet YOUR gun likes.
I have found a gun USUALLY needs to be shot in. Shoot a couple hundred cheep pellets, Then try your sampler pack.
Good luck |

| When spring arrives or when I'm able to get my garage up to a reasonable temperature I'd like to sit down with my air rifle on a stable surface, a target, boxes of different pellets, a chrony and a laptop to gather some data. You need data to know what pellet you airgun shoots with best. Likely you'll need to adjust your sights evertime you change pellets too. |

| JSB and HN pellets are a bit more pricey because they are pretty much exactly the same from pellet to pellet and have no wings or deformities. And are insane accurate, at least the ones I've tried in the guns I've tried them in |
