I've finished my experimenting with my 9mm non-PAL Carbine so have decided to sell it to help finance my next project....

The gun was built from parts and uses a tube and many other parts from the Crosman 2260, plus a Disco valve, fill fitting and fill cover.... The tube was drilled to secure the valve using the standard Disco attachment method of three 8-32 screws and the fill pressure is 2000 psi, so the gun is quite suitable for using with a hand pump.... The breech is a one-of that I machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and it has a full length dovetail for mounting a scope.... I also made the barrel band which supports the barrel with an O-ring, so the barrel is "semi-floated".... The barrel is a 16" long Track of the Wolf 9mm, and I machined the breech and transfer port as required, crowned it to 11 degrees, and blued it (Van's gun blue).... The 2260 trigger group has a lighter trigger spring and the "3-screw" mod so it is a fully adjustable two-stage trigger.... The stock has a slight wear mark in the comb area....

Now to the important part, the numbers.... The gun uses 77.8 gr. EunJin pellets (the only diablo pellet available in Canada) and it is tuned for ten shots at just under 500 fps.... I spent a lot of time balancing the hammer spring and transfer port size to achieve this.... Here is a typical shot string....

All 10 shots above were within 4% of the maximum velocity.... The average velocity was 491 fps, average energy was 41.6 FPE, and the refill pressure was about 900 psi.... The efficiency was a very high 1.46 FPE/CI....
