| Check it out, if you have an Android phone then this could be useful. You can save a rifle, then under the "cartridge" section you can save different ammo for that rifle. No graphs for trajectory but the chart has just about all the information about the pellet's flight that ChairGun has. Very easy to use as well |

| I'm an idiot, forgot to even say what it is! It's called Strelok Ballistics Calculator and you can find it by google-ing that in your browser. Best part is it's free! |

I thought you were speaking of the Hawke Optics PC software;
http://www.hawkeoptics.com/apps/chairgun-pro.html
I've been playing with the ChairGun software this evening but I'll need to do some shooting tomorrow to get some real world data for it.
I Googled "Strelok Ballistics Calculator" and discovered that it's specifically for the Android. Unfortunately I have an HTC phone |

| No, that's why I said it's like ChairGun. It's pretty cool, I've been studying the trajectories of a few of my guns a bit lately and comparing flight times of different pellets and so on. That kind sucks to hear it's Android only though, but there are a few other free ones out there if you look. If I can find the list I'll post the names of the others |

| Last summer I saw a guy at the range who was using one of those things (for .308) and it even factored in the coreolis effect. |

A buddy of mine has done the math on his .303 rifle, printed out a small chart and taped it to the side of the rifle stock. All he needs to do is guesstimate the distance to the target/deer. |

I tried this software on myLG Optimus/Android, it loaded and got the first screen up for settings but refused to go any further.
I guess some phones dont like it?

HTC phones use the Android system so it may work on yours?

Thanks for bring up that point, Android can be loaded onto an HTC phone but right now my HTC phone actually has Windoze Phone 7 on it. |

| Al, there is a reasonable possibility that there is a software/firmware update for your phone. Check your version |

I Have just deleted and re-installed, and it now works ok. It's a nice piece of software.

| Sure is, already one of my most used apps besides youtube! Been entering in all my rifles and toying with different ammo to see the performance differences, I'm already cutting the diets of a couple rifles, and will be doing some testing in the near future with a couple different meal plans for them. |
