I know what a Crown is, however, I can't tell whether it is Good Shape or Bad Shape. If you could possibly point out the differences that would be awesome.
My Nitro Venom Dusk is having Accuracy issues. But after Cleaning the barrel, trying a variety of different pellets, changing scopes, and tightening all of the screws, The groupings just wont tighten up, So i think it may be the Crown. |

First of all, take a cotton swab and wipe around the area. If some pulls off it's definitely a bad crown. Next take a magnifying glass and look at it closely. It should look like an even ring all the way around like a countersunk hole. If not, you need to redo it. Here is the instructions off the rifle part of our site: http://www.airgunhome.com/agforum/viewtopic.php?t=15
Good luck! |

After inspecting the Crown, I have confirmed that it is in bad shape. On 3 quarters of the Barrel, there is a groove from the rifling, but on one part, it is just smooth. |
