I have been writing monthly reviews for Crosman, and I advertise them on my YouTube Channel which now has 600 Subscribers. I still dont get anything in return Neutral

Dont get me wrong, I love doing things for Crosman. The subscribers that have informed me, have said that they enjoy Crosman Products and got into them because of me. I have actually referenced about a Dozen YouTubers to Crosman/Benjamin Products. I have gotten feedback from about 6 of them, saying that they did actually purchase the products I recommended them. That would equal over $1.5K in Crosman Merchandise purchased.

The reason why I am coming to you guys is because I am going to ask Chip Hunnicutt (The person I talk to most on the Crosman team) if I could possibly get something for my efforts. However, I have NO idea how to write him a letter explaining my "Demands." If you could help me with that, That would be awesome!

Thank You,

Jr.

Best way I can think of writing him would be like writing in for a grant consideration.

here is a page I found that may be able to help
http://www.samplegrantproposal.org/

Good luck!

If you need help with writing it, just pm me and I will do my best to help. I write grant proposals for my wife occasionally. She is a teacher and there are tons of grants available for her.

Here is another good site:

Thanks! However, I am very, Very, Very LAZY!!! So I'm not gonna write that much. I may just write him a Multiple Paragraph Letter on why I should get a "Gift" for my efforts. (ALL I WANT IS THAT FRIKKEN DISCOVERY!) Laughing

If anything, I can just ask him for a Discount on the Discovery!

One quick question......What should I subject the Email?

Don't think for a min they don't get around the forums...

they come into GTA forum and ask...
" If we were to build a underlever!..what would you like to see
in it ?"
3 or 4 turn up at the GTA fun shoots with there gun range..

Crosman seem to keep a eye on the forums...

The least they could do is spot you pellets, a shirt, hat or heck, all three. Come on Crosman, give him something to show your appreciation.

Plus 1 with A Reward or an Award.... for sure!

However, I say to hell with the 8 Bucks worth of Pellets, T-shirts and Caps.
Idea I say, Give the young man his choice (price within reason) of an Air Rifle or Air Handgun! Cool This IS My 2 cents and I'm sticking to it. Exclamation

Hey Jr. Squirreler

I just got done watching most of your videos on your web page, after seeing said videos I'm now confused,... I actually went back to recheck the "DATE" of when this thread was posted...

OK, this leads me to my 1st question about this thread, "You're asking How to go about asking for a raise"
But after watching said videos.... You have in the beginning and end of the videos "Sponsership info. about Crossman"....
So this tells Me, you Should Definitely be getting some kind of compensation... weather it's "goods" or something else but You are receiving something correct?

As I was under the impression, you really were Not getting paid anything.

#2) Did You get you 1st air rifle fixed yet?
#3) Did You sell your Gamo Big Cat or do You still have it\shoot it?

Lastly #4) How do you prep your Squirles for eatting?

Peace Jeff

PS. I think I've got a tip for You to make skinning much easier IF You are interested..? Keep in mind the FIRST thing I said here.. (I think)
PS. An FWIW and or FYI: You should not be affraid to edit the videos when You NEED to. Wink

Thanks for the compliment. At this time, Mr Hunnicutt did agree for a Sponsorship from Crosman. However, We are not getting paid anything, nor receiving anything. I do not know what you mean by my first Air Rifle. If you mean the big cat, I did in fact get it fixed, however now it has severe spring fatigue and I do not shoot it. However, I do have it. I prepare my squirrels a very common way. My Dad's Seasons them with the Family Seasoning, and it gets thrown in the frying pan until cooked to perfection.

I would like to hear that alternative way. The way I skin them can be a pain in the @$$!

Hey Jr.Squirreler

I HAVE To tell You... Sponsership MEANS You are either getting paid or receive compensation.... You understand? IF You are NOT getting Squat which is what it sounds like to me.... YOU are getting hosed.
OK, I understand you might have started this on your own and I commend you for your Go out and get it mind set!.... Cool
However, now you have taken it to another level, where You NOW have this Mr. Hunnicutt's attention. Where He's actually said>>>
"At this time, Mr Hunnicutt did agree for a Sponsorship from Crosman."
So IF he has infact agreed then he now needs to step up and HOOK You Up! IF He doesn;t hook You Up well then, this means to Me,>>>> He is taking advatage of you over this IF You still haven't received anything? I would then let him know, You are about to take down the Crossman advertisment from your web-site... See what happens?

I don't have alot of time here BUT 1st> Try putting him in the frig. if you can overnight, if you don't have time for this, then try it for atleast acouple hours before skinning.
Try it and let me know how it goes.. Wink

Peace Jeff
