I've owned a BB gun since I was six and bought my first springer (FWB 124) when I was 18 (I'm 46 now). Where we currently live, I could shoot about 300 degrees around my house and shot a lot of rimfire, center fire and shotgun. Well, last summer, our good neighbor Shell oil, decided they were going to put a gas pad next door (my mother in laws place) and right on my 250 yd range I had trimmed up through the woods. No amount of negotiations would convince them to move the pad (they're good neighbors you know) so we decided to move. They took my favorite hunting grounds and leveled it (also many other memories) but hey, they have to put them where they are most profitable for their share holders. (They don't care about us lowly landowners, we're just collateral damage)
So anyways, we are moving to the outskirts of our local town. I won't be able to shoot rimfire, center fire or shotgun there so I need to tune up my air rifles. The piston seal went bad in the FWB 24 a year ago and I've finally ordered a new one from a guy in Canada. It should be in transit. I also have an RWS 48 and it will start to see a lot more action. I'm really looking forward to it actually. I've always loved my air rifles and now I'll be shooting them much much more! My new basement is 90 ft long in one section so I'll have a nice indoor range for those guns and I'll be able shoot in comfort all winter long.
Looking forward to getting to know you folks here.

| Welcome to the fold. Sounds like you have some very nice hardware. Hopefully you'll consider entering the fortnight target shoot. |

See- Canadians aren't totally useless.
You did find about the only FWB parts supplier on the continent (Cibies). |

Isn't Lee Valley in Canada? They're a great woodworking supply business. The DowelMax is also made in Canada. The best doweling tool you can buy!
I love Canadians!!!!
I think I found him here when I was doing a search for FWB 124 piston seals. Found a post that had a link to him.

Thanks Sean! I don't know what the fortnight target shoot is yet but I'm sure I'll find out from someone...
