I have the Hammerli version (Hammerli Pneuma Elite 10). Untouched, it's an air hog. How do I make it use air more efficiently? Goal is to get about 30 shots per fill, if possible. I;m new to the rifle, so I don't know.
thank you,
Flyby out (aka Darryl)

Here is the data I collected with a Hatsan AT44-10 which is the exact same gun....

Those are 30 shots strings, and the lowest velocity is 93-94% of the highest depending on pellet choice.... If you need a tighter tolerenace, you have two choices....

1. accept the fact that you will get fewer shots....

2. accept the fact that you will have to tune the gun to a lower power level....

I have an LDC, but I think I want to mount a less conspicuous shroud. Do you have an opinion on configuring this rifle to have a free-floating barrel? I'd retain the bands to support the tank and provide stiffness to the stock. I understand this would leave enough room fro a shroud of nearly 3/4 inch diameter.
thank you,
Flyby out

Thanks for posting your graph on the other site. I think those guys as well as me (Darryl) will benefit from it.
This image is of a CF shroud made by Neil Clague.

I have his LDC on my rifle:
