Do a search over at Canadian Airgun Forum. There is a huge group over there with Hatsan's

The only consistent comment about the pump action is that the force required is more than what people expect.... You are directly sliding back the hammer with no added leverage, so the force required to recock the gun is the same as with a bolt action....

Well mine arrived today in .22 format and so far so good. Seems pretty powerfull out of the box. Mine is restricted to 12fpe at the moment. The pump action does feel a bit harsh, but a bit of grease soon made it better. Works ok without any jamming so far. I dont feel that much effort is needed to reload via the pump mechanism as has been said on here..

The rifel is front heavy as it has the abs stock, but i have heard that some added weight at the rear of the stock will sort that out.

Just been reading a thread on here and with a bit of modding this rifel has potential.

I really like the pump action on this rifel that is why i bought it, and the modding capabillity of course.

Does anyone know when i cock the rifel with the pump action, should the safety automatically enable with each shot? As mine does not.

I don't think so. It would be unreasonable on a "fast action" rifle such as this one.

The first time I shot one I broke the pump-action, and it wasn't mine. Razz

LOL!! I hope that does not happen to mine, do you know what broke as there is not much to the mechanism.

I have a habbit of loading 2 pellets into the breach when I insert the 10 shot mag, I will have to figure this one out, otherwise its been ok so far.

Just another question, do you think the barrels are interchangable, from .22 to a .177 as its only held in place with 2 grub screws, or will the loading mechanism be different? I know the 10 shot mag will be different, but what about the probe that pushes the pellet in?
