Industry Brand/Shanghair Airgun Group (SAG) products are now being distributed through S/R (Beeman) for North America. The former importer is "out" and Beeman (owned by SAG) is now doing all the importing.
As part of this, it has come about that pricing will be going up on all IB/QB/SAG products (this includes the re-brand names such as "TechForce" and the like)- (apparently 30-40%) so if anyone has been "holding back" in buying that QB78/TF79- now, before current inventories run out, would be the time if you are in the US or Canada. |

It explains some recent delays.
However, for those of us with some sort of (vague) prior relationship with S/R this may not be all bad- except of course for the huge price increase.
Again, for anyone thinking about a QB product- buy now, I can't predict how long different companies have inventory on hand at the old price level, but I can't imagine it would be many months for most. |
