So I desperately need to upgrade from my $15 tasco scope, and I don't want to give walmart anymore money for junk. I have a QB78 deluxe (CO2 .177 bolt action) and I shoot from about 10-30 yards. What scopes would you suggest? Since it's CO2, and has no recoil, it does not have to be an airgun-rated scope.
I'd like something like 3-9, 4-12, 4-16, but no more than 16x though. 40mm and 50mm Obj. lens would be ideal. From BSA, I'm considering their Airgun and Huntsman models. From Barska, their Varmint and Airgun models, and from Leapers, the Bug Buster and Golden image... anyone have experience with any of these?
Thanks. |

I have a Hawke Airmax 3-9x40 scope on my QB78 and it’s had a lot of use in the last four years, I find it just a nice size for the OB and works well out to 30m.

| The bug buster is a good scope. I had one, but I traded that rifle and the scope had to go with it. Definitely worth the money to me. I'm saving up for another one. |
