Hey guys, now that my YouTube Channel is getting really popular, I made a website that introduced us, our "Staff", etc. Well I made it on Weebly, but do you know if there is a way to Add a forum?

Thanks again.

Here's the OFFICIAL JrSquirreler website:

BTW: Cut me some slack, I made it by myself! Wink

I would rework the text on the site, let some other folks read it to get some of the kinks out. Smoothen things out and read around on web-design and typography a little.

You can get some pretty good stuff just from tutorials (at my school we did nothing BUT tutorials because the teachers were way to lazy).

You'll get better at it, I'm sure. It ain't half bad, and that's coming from a guy who went to school for that stuff. Razz

In webdesign, less is more. Check out Wordpress or Twitter. Those are winning designs because they´re really minimalistic. Their model works. This doesn´t mean you have to copy it, but they´re really good pointers in the good direction.

No need to apologize; that's excellent work. I certainly couldn't do it.

The content will come - just keep at it.

I'm a hunter safety instructor (the class you have to take to get a hunting license). I appreciate your emphasis on safety. It sets a tone that casts the whole sport in a positive light.

Thanks! But yes, many Younger Kids (about my age) that get Adult Air Rifles think they are toys and they think they don't have to Abide by the 10 Firearm Commandments.

A buddy of mine actually got shot in the arm by his friends Crosman Raven and had to go to the Hospital to get the Pellet taken out. Air Rifles are no Joke. They should be treated as Firearms.

Checked out your site and have a few comments. Very good for a start, but the dark background and red text while it may look cool it is hard to read. I have a site that is designed to help people get a presents on the web for free and in it I have created some backgrounds and show them with different color text on the different backgrounds and you may want to check it out to see the effect of using different colors and the effect of busy backgrounds.

I would increase the content of your site. One way you could do this is to write up some text to go along with your guns telling about there specs and your experience with them. You could increase your content by telling your visitors about where, why and how you shoot.

I would suggest that you place some kind of label on your squirrel link to your youtube so people know where it will take them as they may think that it is some kind of scam or trick for malware when it takes them away from your site without any indication.

I have not heard of Weebly before so I went there and from what I see they do not offer a forum function just a blog function. Now there are after market forums you may be able to add if they allow such thing and you would need to contact them to know for sure. Forums can eat a lot of bandwidth and so they may not allow it for free. However! I have seen some blogs that almost seem like forums when they are busy enough.

Again looking good for a startup good luck.

I updated the "Our Airguns/Firearms" section, and also started on a review section.

Is that what you mean by adding more content, or do you guys mean go even BIGGER?

To be honest we're hoping for Howitzers but maybe that's a lil much to ask for at the moment? Or is that just me? Razz

@ broom: He is working on the airgun version of a howitzer. A 1377 makes a pretty much a rainbow trajectory before you get that 14 in barrel on it. lol

That is good but I am sure it will grow as the site matures.
